Directions
Automated Use:
- Instrument drying and brightening
- For use in all types of Washer-Disinfector machines as a rinsing agent Asepti Citric Rinse is dosed between 0.1 – 1 mL per Litre of rinse water.
- Asepti Citric Rinse can be used for ongoing routine instrument brightening in the mechanical process in a step after the main wash at 0.5 – 3 mL per Litre. This step assists in eliminating the frequency of manual instrument brightening.
- Asepti Citric Rinse is not to be used in the reprocessing of anaesthetic devices and accessories. It is not compatible with utensils made from polysulphone (PSU) or polyphenylene sulphone (PPSU) and should not be used to process anaestetic circuit connectors or LMA masks.
Soak Method:
- Instrument brightening
- Wear suitable protective clothing including gloves and eye protection (refer to Safety Datasheet)
- Prepare a solution of Asepti Citric Rinse in hot water (50-60°C) at 75 mL per Litre.
- Fully immerse the cleaned and opened instruments into the solution.
- For brightening and rust removal allow instruments to soak for 15- 30 minutes.
- Inspect instruments and repeat soaking if necessary.
- Remove instruments from solution and rinse thoroughly
- Reprocess immediately in a washer disinfector machine
