Belimed PST.2 Series Pharmaceutical Steam Sterilisers

The PST.2 Series is a new generation GMP steam steriliser platform designed for seamless integration into pharmaceutical production. Its modular design supports a wide range of applications within a compact footprint, while the B-Touch user interface supports intuitive, ergonomic operation. Optimised utilities help reduce water and energy consumption without compromising compliance or reliability.

• Process class 6050: Steam sterilisation. Designed for solid and porous products, as well as liquids in open or vented containers, with a vacuum system. Typical loads include machine parts, filter housings, closure components, glassware, vessels with vent filters, textiles and contaminated materials.
• Process class 6065: Steam sterilisation with jacket cooling. Intended for solid and porous products, as well as liquids in open or vented containers. Jacket cooling supports gentle, uniform cooling while helping keep overall cycle time short. Support pressure is provided for sterilisation of liquids.
• Process class 6060: Steam-and-air mixture sterilisation. Designed for liquids in open or closed, flexible or rigid containers, with a process designed to support short processing times. The system features a fan, baffle plates and chamber cooling coils, and maintains support pressure to help prevent deformation. Suitable loads include SVP liquids in glass vials, ampoules and syringes, and LVP liquids in BFS bottles and FFS bags.

The PST.2 Series is built on one modular platform that can be configured for several sterilisation processes to suit specific applications and load types: saturated steam with or without jacket cooling, or steam-and-air mixture.

• 20-year chamber warranty: the pressure vessel is backed by a 20-year / 20,000-cycle warranty, whichever comes first.
• Compact service access: a swivel-mounted electrical cabinet opens like a door to the technical area, supporting a compact footprint while providing clear access for inspection and service.
• B-Touch Max HMI: key information is displayed on a 32-inch configurable interface, with role-based layouts, adjustable screen positioning, glove-friendly navigation, and access to manuals and remote support.
• LED status plinth: full-width, colour-coded LED signals provide process status visibility from across the room on both loading and unloading sides.
• Non-proprietary components: manufactured with proven, globally available, industry-standard components rather than proprietary parts, with original spare parts available through SteelcoBelimed with documentation and traceability or directly from original manufacturers.
• B-Measured utility monitoring: real-time utility monitoring at cycle level helps compare programs, identify optimisation opportunities and support sustainability reporting.

Suitable for sterilisation of a wide range of items, including machine parts, filter housings, closure components such as stoppers, plungers and caps, liquids in open, vented or closed containers, SVP liquids in glass vials, ampoules and syringes, LVP liquids in BFS bottles and FFS bags, glassware, vessels with vent filters, textiles and contaminated materials.
