Directions

Manual Cleaning and Soaking:

  • For routine manual reprocessing of medical instruments
  • Dilute Sekusept Multi Enzyme into a sink of warm water between 30°C – 50°C at 5 – 20 mL per Litre.
  • Allow to soak for 10 minutes and then brush clean. Soak for longer where soil is heavy or dried onto the surface.
  • Rinse items thoroughly, then proceed with normal decontamination process.

Ultrasonic Cleaning:

  • Sekusept Multi Enzyme is ideal for use in ultrasonic baths.
  • For ultrasonic applications, dose Sekusept Multi Enzyme at 5 – 20 mL per Litre.
  • Set bath temperature to 40°C – 55°C.
  • Sekusept Multi Enzyme is supplied with a manual pump. Refer Manual dispensing instruments for further details.

Endoscope Pre-Cleaning and Cleaning:

  • Prepare a fresh solution for each scope, dilute Sekusept Multi Enzyme at 5 -20 mL per Litre at 30°C – 50°C.
  • Soak disposable cloth in Sekusept Multi Enzyme bath and wipe away visible soil from the insertion tube endoscope exterior.
  • Place biopsy tip into Sekusept Multi Enzyme solution and aspirate enzymatic detergent through suction/biopsy channel.
  • Remove tip from bath and alternate the suctioning of air and enzymatic detergent until expelled solution is visibly clean.
  • Completely immerse the endoscope in the Sekusept Multi Enzyme bath.
  • Whilst immersed brush all channels and exterior surfaces and then flush and fill all channels with Sekusept Multi Enzyme solution.
  • Rinse scope, channels and removable parts with water to remove all detergent residues prior to disinfection.
  • Discard all used solutions and materials.
